Our Response To Covid-19

Dear Church Family,
As we're sure all of you are doing, we have been watching the news and listening to what the CDC, the Department of Public Health and Governor Newsom are asking all of us to do in response to the COVID-19 virus. If you haven’t heard yet, they are placing limits on public gatherings for the month of March, and possibly beyond.

As a church, we are rapidly responding to this new guideline and the staff and deacons will work together to navigate the next few weeks, or until the gathering restrictions are lifted. With that being said, Pastor Paul, Staff and Deacons have decided that the best way to keep our congregation safe is to move our worship experiences on Sunday morning from in-house to online for at least, the next two Sundays, March 15 and 22nd.

We are in new territory, so we appreciate your prayer and your help as we work out the logistics.

Just because we can't meet at the building, it doesn't mean that we can't meet online! It's important that we stick together through this trial. We will record the sermon and stream it on the Church's Facebook Page and on Our Website on Sunday at 10:00 am and it will continue to be available on both platforms beyond that time so you can watch it when it is convenient for you.
Many people, especially the elderly and those with compromised immune systems, are feeling the weight of this crisis more than others. We need to protect the most vulnerable by calling them with a word of encouragement and offering to bring food and supplies if needed. The church is not a building... we are the church! Let your light shine.

There are many in our congregation who do not communicate over social media so please let your friends from church know that we will not be having in-person/onsite worship the next few weeks.  We will also do our best to keep everyone updated about other scheduled events that may be canceled or postponed over the next few weeks so check the church’s social media and website regularly and call the office if you have questions or need any info about upcoming events at (951) 683-1711.

Jesus told us in John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Jesus offers us a special kind of peace… His peace... a peace that nothing can take away from you.

Be safe, but do not fear. Jesus has overcome the world.

Blessings and Peace to you!
