In today's lesson we learn about, ... Ruth and Boaz --- Ruth 1 & 2
This week we head to Ruth 1 & 2, where we find Naomi and her daughter-in-law, Ruth.
Their husbands have died, and Ruth has the opportunity to return home to her family. Instead, she chooses to show kindness to Naomi and stay with her. Ruth's kindness doesn't go unnoticed. Boaz sees how Ruth is treating Naomi and offers kindness to Ruth, changing her life in a huge way.
Our Bottom Line This Week Is: ... Be kind to your family and friends.
When it comes to our family and friends, we can often find ourselves taking them for granted. We hope through the story of Ruth, kidz will learn to show kindness to the people who care about them the most.
Our Memory Verse This Week Is: ... "You are God's chosen people. You are Holy and dearly loved. So put on tender mercy and kindness as if they were your clothes. Don't be proud. Be gentle and patient."
