Who doesn’t love a good superhero?
One of the reasons we love superheroes is because they take action when they see something wrong happening around them. They do something about it!
There are so many injustices in the world, and a lot of them feel too big to do anything about.
Sometimes we don’t even realize that big injustices are happening because we don’t recognize them as injustices. We just see them as part of the way the world works.
We can’t be part of the solution if we don’t see the problems, so how can we open our eyes to the surrounding injustices?
In the book of Matthew, we'll read that righteous people seek and look for injustices around them. They care about the people who need the most help, feel the most pain, or get the worst treatment. And righteous people do something about those injustices. Responding to injustice is a way to show love for both God and others and to show that we care about what God cares about.
