Gideon -- Judges 6 - 8

In today's lesson we learn about ...
Gideon --- Judges 6-8

In Judges 6-8, we discover more about when God called Gideon to lead the Israelites. Gideon doubted God would want him to help. After all, Gideon was from the smallest tribe, the smallest family, and he was the smallest of his family! God wanted him anyway.
Eventually, Gideon learned that God could use him no matter what!

Our Bottom Line This Week Is: ...  God Can Use You No Matter What.

Big or small, young or old, God can use people to do extraordinary things.

We pray that whether kids feel like Gideon or have the confidence of an entertainer taking the stage, kids will realize that God can use them.

Our Memory Verse This Month Is: ... "I Remain Confident Of This: I Will See The Goodness Of The Lord In The Land Of The Living."  Psalm 27:13, NIV

Remember that Confidence is: Learning To See Yourself The Way God Sees You
=============================================================================
THE CONNECTION BETWEEN COMMITMENT AND GOD’S CHARACTER, AS SHOWN THROUGH GOD’S BIG STORY.
When it comes to confidence, we might try and base it on what we do well or what a teacher or parent might say about us. But true confidence should be built on something that lasts forever. We think that’s found in understanding how God sees us. God created us, and God loves us. Nowhere is this more evident than in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. And, when you put your confidence in Jesus, you can truly see yourself how God sees you.
