In today's lesson we learn about ...
Wise People See Danger --- Proverbs 22:3
For week three, we look to something Solomon wrote in Proverbs 22:3. Wise people see danger and go to a safe place, but childish people keep going and suffer for it (NIrV). Without thinking, people can rush into a situation and soon discover that they are in trouble. Solomon warns us to make sure we know what we’re facing before moving forward with a decision.
Our Bottom Line This Week Is: ... Think Before You Act.
Kids face all sorts of decisions where they have to decide if they will keep going or pause to evaluate the best option. These decisions happen as they learn to navigate friendships, technology, and priorities.
We hope kids discover that pausing to ask themselves, “What’s the wise choice in this situation?” can save them from getting hurt.
Our Memory Verse This Month Is: ... "If Any Of You Needs Wisdom, You Should Ask God For It. He will Give It To You. God Gives Freely To Everyone And Doesn’t Find Fault" James 1:5 , NIRV
Remember that Wisdom is: Finding Out What You Should Do And Doing It.

CONNECTION BETWEEN COMMITMENT AND GOD’S CHARACTER, SHOWN THROUGH GOD’S BIG STORY
When Jesus was a boy, He grew in wisdom. God wants us to discover wisdom, too. When we make a wise choice, we reflect the character of Jesus to the people around us. That’s why giving kids a strong foundation of wisdom is important. We want to equip them to face down whatever choice they may face in the future.
