Elements of True Repentance

We’ve learned from a very young age that if we offended or hurt someone we have to say, “I’m sorry.” But will saying those words automatically restore estranged parties, especially when the offended party is God? The Bible would say something else is needed. That something is repentance. But what is repentance? In our continuing sermon series on the Book of Jonah, we find Jonah repenting in chapter 2. Through his example, we discover certain principles of what biblical repentance looks like.
