Lydia's Story
In today's lesson we learn about ...
Lydia --- Acts 16:13-15
In week three, we head to Acts 16:13-15. We look at a moment from one of Paul’s travels where we meet a woman named Lydia.
Lydia had a unique skill: the art of making clothing with purple dye. This set her apart and gave her standing among the “upper crust” of Philippian society. Lydia also followed God. When Paul and his companions traveled to Philippi, they found Lydia and other women meeting and praying. Lydia became a follower of Jesus and became a leader in the church at Philippi.
Our Bottom Line This Week Is: ... Use Your Gifts To Help Others.
Each of us has something we’re good at. Just like God used Lydia, God can use our skills and talents to help others and make a difference in the world around us.
Our Memory Verse This Month Is: ... "How You Made Me Is Amazing And Wonderful. I Praise You For That. What You Have Done Is Wonderful. I Know That Very Well." Psalm 139:14 , NIRV
Remember that Individuality is: Discovering who you’re meant to be so you can make a difference.
