Oikos Regardless

In the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, fear has taken hold on a global level. This week, Church on The Hill is taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus and protect our local community. In the midst of fear and “social isolation,” we are finding creative ways for sharing the gospel with our Oikos. We call all of us to action; We are unified as the body of Christ and it is our shared conviction that allows us to call one another “brother” and “sister.” As we explore some elements in the story found in Luke 8:26-39, I invite you to take seriously the crippling nature that fear can have and to be empowered by the transformative power of the Gospel – a Gospel that our Oikos needs to hear.
